Ultimate Smart Assistant Showdown 2024! Alexa vs Siri vs Google

So which assistant do YOU think will be the first to go, or last the longest? …I have my own theory but I want to hear yours.

I have been using a Facebook portal device for years for Music and Weather and especially video chatting. Recently it just stopped working and no matter what I do I can’t get it to respond to my voice command. I tried a factory reset and all the other things that were suggested. So I want to replace that with something that I can use for video chatting through messenger video. Any suggestions?

I got the first (gen1) Echo, which still sounds awesome btw, and then the first Dot. My wife and kids were convinced the dot was listening in on us. So when I got a new Dot, I created a new email account, new Amazon account and tied it to the new Dot — you can imagine our surprise at the junk mail and Amazon suggestions we received. You should try this with each and see what happens.

I have smartglasses w alexa and i hate her guts.if you dont pay for premium she wont take orders, if i want a specific song she might instead play a list, maybe by the band but not the song.i have google in every room and it will play whatever whenever.

Ive got all 3, out of the 3, i think Google is best, but seems to not be as good as it once was when i first starting using them years ago. Honestly i wish there was a ChatGPT smart type device, i really dont care if it only answered my questions. I have it on my phone, and i never use google anymore, chat can tell me anything i ask, weather is regarding my car, video doorbell, watever. Id buy one in a second.

I use Apple ecosystem and I also have the Drone Mobile and Compustar Alarm for my truck, I can control and see everything on my phone and Watch from unlocking my front door or even unlocking my truck with my watch it just works. I can see my camera's and control my thermostat from my watch too…..I do also have the S22 Ultra and new Ultra watch from Samsung and the drone mobile just does not work as good with that system. I have yet to find something I CANT control with Apple Home,

I just started using Alexa and even though none of my smart devices are more than 30 feet away from my router. 75% of the time Alexa will answer buy saying device unresponsive. I am not impressed with Alexa.

I’m an Apple fan and think Siri is “ok” in its limited use, but Apple’s routine creation is garbage. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone that wants a robust home automation solution. It’s been like that for years and probably will be for years to come. They should be embarrassed.
