I can't help thinking this is a solution still looking for a problem. While Alexa (and others) and its devices may be a panacea for the average don't-really-care person, surely there is a better quality answer for everything – without the worry of personal data security? We're still seeing big changes in the intelligent connectivity space. I am grateful to all the early adopters to help that along, but I bet most of the tech you're discussing will be in landfill within a few years.

This video didn't help me at all. I want my devices to talk shit to be mean to others and threaten people at random times. If you can program them to do that, i want it if you can't program it to do that then. I don't want it 😂😂 can you imagine going to your friend's house? Trying to use a coffee machine. Anybody else having issues with Alexa ceasing to be functional with Wiz lights? It’s intermittent and inconsistent. “Alexa lights on” results in only half the lights coming on, sometimes…? Just me?

Great video! I just got my Echo Dot and skuld like go use Alexa to call my phone which I misplace in the house all the time. It works but The volume of the signal is very low in The app even tbough The volume of my phone is at max and I cannot find a way to increase it. Is there a way?

I have been unable to view my existing custom routines. I wish to modify them but cannot remember how I first created them, or how to view them once created. Want to modify and all I get is a listing of the pre-built routines from Alexa. Anyone have any suggestions?
