Thanks for checking out this video. It was nice to get out of the office and travel around.

Just to clarify. I can use this to connect to my home ISP remotely anywhere in the world the world right?
can i use this in Europe as a Hotpsot to conect my laptop to? will this accept the nearest cell tower where i am staying? i dont have wifi at the building i am staying in.
Can it work as a repeater?
I'm looking at using this for my in ear monitor rig because it's so compact. No internet provider needed. Ethernet cable connected to my x32 mixer and tablets connected wireless to the mixer though the router. Do I need to log into the product website to set this up every time I use it or is it power up and go after initial set up.
Would this work if it’s connected to another router? For instance, long term Airbnb and I want my own network with a vpn installed on it. For the fastest internet speed it would be better to connect it to the router with an Ethernet cord, right?
Can you play a ps5 on it?
device cannot be used as repeater?
Can this router be powered by a battery power bank?
Include the nas storage feature
After six weeks router stopped finding any networks, rebooted and got this error. “Unknown error occurred, Please check the network environment or reboot the device”. Customer service asked me to do many tests, none fixed the issue. GL.iNet are ignoring my request for replacing or refunding. Avoid GL.iNet.
The hotel room didn’t have any Ethernet cable slot. I couldn’t set it up.
openwrt?
I dont think this could make life easier. Infact this tech has been exist on a laptop model 2021 above, hotspot & tethering, sharing media files or accesing media file wirelessly exist almost half decade now. what this device lacking features is a simcard that has a 5G capability that can be use as Internet access.
Does it allow Wifi extension though? and can i use seperate password for my extended AP i created
Don't you have to have a known Internet Connection for these devices to work? What does one do when they don't have an Internet or Ethernet connection at the other end?
Dumb question, can you set it up as a WEP connection?
You are not showing the connection with your phone 😢
Thank you for this video. I just fot this for my upcoming travel (which includes a cruise).
does this router workin Asia?
Thank you for the video. You have mentioned that it can be used on the airplane but have you tried? I didn't see in the video. Thanks in advance.
Just use your phone.
GL.Inet routers beat this one on all parameters: price, power, versatility, extendability, open source – you name it. Why own 10th best travel router when there are 9 others mile ahead of this one?
so i dont want to activate my phone hotspot BUT i want to use the router as a hotspot linked to my cellular phone data. is this possible ?
Not one of you explain how it works? Or how to connect it?
I honestly don't see the benefit to having this thing. I understand the pros that you mentioned, but I just never found those issues inconvenient while travelling. I feel like you're just carrying another thing you don't really need when you bring this thing. I guess the only time it makes sense is on a cruise that you're sharing with multiple people. The VPNs on my devices connect automatically so it's not like I need a router to do my VPN stuff for me.
Whats the hotspot vs router mode?
So my question is do all the hotels have the internet port for you to connect a cat5 or cat6 cable to the travel router?? If my hotel room doesn't have the internet jet, we can't really use it ?
Hey sorry to ask this, but given what I've seen so far of your channel, do you know of any wired only routers that are good for laptops traveling around? I'm looking for a mobile hotspot router basically that does not have a WIFI or wireless connectivity option. I want it to be a wired (preferably type c connection for better bandwidth) single device only connection. So when I'm traveling I don't have a broadcasted WIFI signal of any sort, my device receives, I manually connect and do what I need to do online with good speeds. Send/receive medium to large files, stream 1080p content etc. speeds. I'm having a heck of time trying to word it right when I'm googling it, so I haven't really had any luck finding what I'm looking for. Any direction you could (or anyone could) point me, would be so very much appreciated!
Thank you all in advance!
a regular router, only compact
thanks you
Nice way to write of vacation gj
Can i used cat 8 cable with it
What power pack are you using???
I brought it after watching your video and after testing I kept it and did not used at all. After 6 months when I needed it did not work. Total bs product…
The should call it "campus college router"
Isn't there a monthly fee? How does that work?
Ping was much worse
I've stayed at hotels in the middle of Silicon Valley and would be lucky to get 5mb wifi. What crazy hotel has 100 up and down!?
Can I use it for gaming?
Can you connect this to your in home router wirelessly and use it as a clone of your original router
Im late how does this work exactly does this require monthly fee
Is there something like this but also with sim support?
which brand and type battery bank are you using? it is 12v DC
I bought one like 2 weeks ago, mainly to have internet access on my playstation portal. How do you connect the travel router via wifi from a hotel or airport. I need to get wifi access to the router and tin return that will give me access to the playstation portal.
No battery? only works when plugged in… Not that travel friendly then.
Hi,
I have this router and can't seem to find the option when installing a VPN client to have all devices go thru the VPN by default. I can only find the option to select the devices to go thru the VPN manually.
Have you find the option that all devices go thru the VPN by default?
I dont understand. where the router get the signal from? from the hotel. if you are renting a place without internet. the router will not work correct? you need the router to connect to something?
