  43. Metaverse… spare me!!! This transition has been going on far longer than people think only now the techs of world want to lay claim as a marketing ploy to attract investors. They put a buzzword as if they discovered something, just like the first ones that lay claim to the internet.

    Digital twins, Industry 4.0, etc., all these buzzwords encapsulate ideas previously known by other names and have been evolving for quite sometime. And they will take longer to mature than they advertise. It’s all marketing!!!

  53. Americans have a short attention span. The meta-verse is not a failure. Adoption rate for VR/AR/MR is simply being adopted more slowly than the creators of meta-verse and other VR content envisioned. This will change thanks to the Quest 3 which is the first most successful mixed reality/VR headset. Apple Vision Pro is too expensive but eventually, hopefully there will be other options at a price point that most people can afford. When that happens, The metaverse will be rightly seen as not a pipe dream but rather a crucial part of Web 3.0. Apple calls it spatial computing which is essentially their metaverse endeavor.

  55. The metaverse will be the most powerful compute ever. It needs headsets and glasses (although nascent) but biotechnology will allow the metaverse without hardware. It’s already here and I experience it. Companies that focus on the metaverse will succeed.

All the earth's ugly people will finally get their dream girl—-as many avatar girls as one wants. Everybody can finally win the billion-dollar jackpot —-anytime you put on your headset.
