  1. There is literally next to zero clients who would buy this. In the schools where I live, they have counselors specifically for job prospects for students and you can be sure the school is not about to just let them go because that would be against their union deals to do so by replacing them with an app. That's also not considering students are the worst clientele for this sort of app if we are to assume schools are out of the picture. They have no money for it and most can find the information online anyway.

  2. Hrm. I suspect the 200k actually is an accurate number, but he asked for the wrong thing. If he went to a software development company and asked for a full production ready setup that included backend, student-app, administator-app, and a workflow for the experts who build the question systems, plus add in house testing, I could easily see that hitting 200k or more. So probably not knowing what he needs as opposed to someone ripping him off.
