Revolutionising Education through Innovation & Tech: School for Rural Innovation, Young Tinker Fdn

Young Tinker Foundation ( Formerly Navonmesh Prasar Fdn and School for Rural Innovation- IPSFRI ) aims to provide Quality Education at the grass-root level for free and thereby educate rural kids through innovation and technology. IPSFRI by Young Tinker Foundation is founded by Shri @AnilPradhan

Also, rural India is not exposed to the facilities provided by other schools in cities. Keeping these thoughts in mind this school was started aiming to provide the rural children or youth a proper education to compete and beat the world around them. Other schools generally focus on elementary education, whereas IPSFRI believes in creating a thirst for innovation among our students.

What is different in our school?
We are a STEM-Ed-based content speciality for rural-based schools. We are educating our students in the vernacular Indian language where we strive to empower and support local youth. At Young Tinker Space, we use innovative tools to teach even the simplest lessons to the students. Our campus has an innovative room with a 3D printer, laser cutters, drill machines, cutting machines, woodcutters, welding machines and all kinds of small tools that would help the students in understanding their lessons in a much more practical way. Also, all these machines are equipped with ‘kill switch technology that would ensure the safety of the students. Our centre offers different classes which are one of its kinds, namely – ‘TOD-FOD-JOD’, ‘KABAD-SE-JUGAAD’ and ‘ZOR-KA-JHATKA’.

About Young Tinker Space
A tinker space is a place where students can tinker and create and do their own things. When children tinker, they learn about the tools and materials they are working with. This way they develop their motor and creative skills.
Our tinker space is equipped with tinkering stations consisting of 3d printers, drilling machines, soldering stations, electronics items (Arduino, breadboard, jumper wires, sensors, etc.) and other mechanical tools (wrench, screwdriver, etc.)

Young Tinker Foundation (formerly Navonmesh Prasar Foundation) is a non-profit organization (section-8 company) that aims to spread the word of innovation, science and technology among students in urban and rural parts of India.

What started with a spark on a remote island in Odisha is today standing proud with its student’s achievements at the International level. It is indeed a matter of pride for us in terms of what the Young Tinker Foundation has accomplished in these years.

We also made history by securing World Rank 3 at NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge 2021. This achievement made India proud as we’re the 1st team in Asia to achieve so. This is a testimony of the great work that we do at our foundation.
