Do buyers of electric vehicles having regret? It looks like most buyers are going back to gas cars. Rather than forcing the market to adapt to a government-mandated technology, the government should let innovation and competition drive the adoption of EVs. This will lead to more efficient and cost-effective solutions, rather than a top-down approach that will ultimately fail.

  1. This is BS. Read the report and that is cherry picked misleading data points. Other surveys show over 90% of ev users say they will never go back to ICE. We have one of each but we drive the EV 75% of the time. Insurance on my F150 Lightning is less than my CRV.

  2. This is a complete hatchet job. And completely false. I am 100% positive less than 5% of EV owners would go back to ice. And pay for all of that gasoline and maintenance again and foul toxic exhaust. You couldn’t give me a nice car. Our entire family has gone EV.

No way possible are we going back to those junk ice cars. Enjoy the ride.

  3. I own an EV, and this video is PERFECT. EV's are NOT for everyone. They ONLY work if they work for YOU and your lifestyle and travel habits. My INSURANCE is outrageous as they charge me like they have to replace the entire battery pack for any accident. TAXES are outrageous too as SC charges tax on GAS and I don't use gas, so I have to pay the extra tax even though I don't drive a lot of miles. My tax on a $30K car is equivalent to tax for an ICE car that cost $90K. Let that sink in. I love the car, and it is awesome. Easiest car to drive in my 60 years of driving literally hundreds of different cars. But again – NOT for everyone. BTW: I always charge at HOME.

  4. What about the destruction to the environment that extracting Oil, mining Oil Tar Sands create, pumping Oil, then shipping Oil, then refining Oil, then shipping it again, then pumping it into the car and finally burning it inefficiently, polluting our atmosphere, our streets where our kids are growing, having their long term health and development effected by breathing this crap into every part of their bodies, are you all actually serious or are you all so brainwashed by the Big Oil propaganda that you all actually believe that burning oil is better for the environment, wow, that is so sad.

  5. first of all is convenience… nobody has 30 minutes to stop and wait for the car to charge. with gas its only gonna take a minute to fill up. 2nd is wlectric vehicle doesnt have a resell value coz of battery deterioration.i own a hybrid and will never ever buy a full ev

  6. Disagree. That's a misinterpreted inflated number. The number that even comes close to this switch is 29% as per that study, which means 71% said they do not plan to switch to gas that's pretty high. The 29% is mainly due to charging network expectations and resale value. Both of which are improving fast. This is partly propaganda and comments by loud folks who don't even have an EV. A vast majority of those who drive one and own one won't go back.

  7. Saudi's who where the major funders of Green Tech are pulling ALL there funding via the W.E.F off Green Tech in the U.S Market because of low R.O.I and lack of interest in the U.S market.
Currently they're now funding 3000 New Gas Stations around the U.S.A.
What I've just shared above came from one of the owners of the Construction Company that are putting in those Gas Stations, they came to check in on the profress of two stations that are being built in our Town.

  8. California turns off the power when it's too hot or too cold, while also demanding everyone have electric cars, that won't be able to be charged if the weather is too hot or too cold. When you run out of power, it's very hard to walk to the next charging station and bring back a can of electricity.
