Lithium-Ion Battery Vs Lithium Polymer Battery | #shorts #youtubeshorts #battery

Apple says – ” Batteries of iPhone 14 models and earlier are designed to retain 80 per cent of their original capacity at 500 complete charge cycles under ideal conditions.* Batteries of iPhone 15 models are designed to retain 80 per cent of their original capacity at 1000 complete charge cycles under ideal conditions.*” (references below)

Actually, most phone Li-ion batteries have around 300 to 500 full charge cycles at full capacity. After that, the capacity starts to degrade, but the battery can still last for 5000+ cycles with reduced capacity. Does your phone’s battery backup stay the same after a year? Probably not. Many phones don’t monitor battery health, so users won’t notice the gradual drop. Some phones like Iphone, however, provide a battery health % feature.

Fact: Fully charging to 100% (4.2V) and discharging to low levels puts more stress on the battery, reducing its cycle life. Charging only to 80% (3.9V) reduces stress, significantly increasing the number of cycles.

Trade-offs:

Full charge (100%): Maximum battery backup but shorter cycle life.

Partial charge (80%): Longer cycle life but reduced backup time.

This method is often used in electric vehicles and devices where battery longevity is more important than immediate capacity.”

  2. Bhai mere phone ko to 9 saal ho gye hai 😂
Lekin battery kabhi bhi fuli nhi or backup bhi aacha hai or main 1 din main lagbhag 3 baar to charge kr he leta hoon. Din bhar games khelta hoon kabhi kabhi to charging pr laga ke khelta hoon. lekin battery kabhi fuli ne or backup bhi kaafi aacha hai 💀

  3. Mere mobile ko 5 saal ho chuke hai 500 kya 5000 baar charge kiya hoga 5 saalo mein tab bhi battery backup shandar hai normal use mein bhi Din bhar battery chal jaati hai phir bhi 40-45% bach jaati hai…woh baat maan skte hai pehle ke comparison mein thoda farak to aa jata hai

  4. Mere pass ek redmi 7a 2019 model hai or wo abhi bhi thik chal rhi hai battery me abhi tak koi problem nhi aai or battery backup bhi pehle jesi hi hai kya mera phone 5 salon me 150-300 bar hi charge hua hoga????😂😂😂😂😂😂

  5. Yeah wrong, lithium polymers aren't just bad like you showed only its cons that too wrong. Lithium polymer is able to accept larger amounts of currents and delivery large amounts of current in 10-100x more range than lithium ion. And it was Samsung's lithium ion batteries that were and are swelling and blowing up. Another thing is that this is not 2014, its 2024 drone batteries which are lithium polymer are so advanced that lithium ions don't even come close, they can accept 1600 charge cycles as in oneplus phones and charge at 320w as showed by realme.
