What is the least expensive decent smartwatch on Amazon? When I was looking for a very low-cost reliable smartwatch on Amazon I settled on the TYKOIT smartwatch. It had the features I wanted for a very low price of about $17. Currently, it’s about $22.00 and could change over time.
The smartwatch had the features I was looking for which were primarily a tracking app for my heart rate and activities along with tracking my sleep. I also like the fact the watch could locate my phone and it had some unexpected features such as the ability to sync with other smartwatches so a person could monitor their parents or someone they were concerned about as it could check on their heart rate and amount of time they were spending sedentary and their exercise program for the day. I did not use the smartwatch for the news or music nor did I use it to notify me of any phone calls or text messages.
After wearing it for several days I did see where the watch was making a mark on my arm so I removed it for a few hours and it went away. Something to keep an eye on.

  1. The cheaper the watch the least amount of bells and whistles, hence why the battery last longer. You can find smart watches under 40.00 dollars with battery life of 1000mah. Anyhow, awesome video, thank you.

  2. I chose the option w/o the app. The model I bought is a bit lesser than yours but is brand new and is labeled TYKOIT Petometer, lW1 Lite. With that said, 1) my model isn't resetting my steps back to zero each day at midnight, it does it at 12 noon, which I don't want; and 2) sometimes I want to be able to reset my steps to zero for personal reasons. For both these problems, I have tried moving settings for time format (12 hour to 24 hour and vice versa) and I've tried changing the date and daily time to get it to reset but no success. I see nothing in the manual about resetting steps automatically or manually. Can you please help?

  3. Stopped wearing my FitBit as it does not agree with me. Cost me a fortune, the strap side with the holes broke twice in one year because it is rubbery and you need to remove it every day for either charging for the week or to avoid getting all wet doing dishes or in a shower. I do not want to wear a wet watch after.

The stairs counter always misses a few times I go up the stairs, the sleep thing doesn't often recognize short naps, it keeps me awake at night because it is clunky on my wrist and disturbs my sleep. My sleep habits were even worse when I used it. The tons of other features it has, I don't use or want to bother with anyway, plus it takes a chunk out of my day recording junk like what I ate and calorie counts. I have a good memory, so know when I eat a piece of cake or pie and don't need to be reminded.

One feature I did like was the alarm clock, but didn't want to wear it when sleeping for it to wake me up. If I had only paid your price, at least I would not feel so bad about the worst gadget I ever bought for myself. Normally I love technology, but this FBit and I are not compatible at all.

I went back to the simple Timex watch with the flexible strap that is easy to use and remove. Now if at least it had a PacMan game on it, it might be worth it.

  4. When you were a kid, Did you ever imagine the technology that would be available? I remember the communicator watch that some comic book private eye had and thinking, wouldn’t it be cool if that were a real thing.

  5. Hi Robb! Supposed to be a watch out that even tells your blood sugar, haven’t checked it out yet.
I’m very rough on my watch and that’s why I never spent the money on a smartwatch, but this might be cheap enough. After you have it awhile, do another review and let us know.
    Have a blessed day!

  6. That’s pretty impressive. Does it come with a Sherlock Holmes magnifying glass so I can read it?
I’m afraid I would need a watch the size of a billboard.
    That really is amazing though.
