  29. I love the newsletter angle, especially when it comes to events around teh region eg concerts and exhibitions or even competitions. Big eat competitions are huge new thing in Asia.

    But local concerns …. errr….do you really think that you have the right to go around to different countries and whip up their political dialogue or pander to any one group as if their voice piece. It is one thing to do it thru online posts where the vids come to you, and definately perfectly fine to do it for yourself to understand if you want to work or live in that country, but to interview locals and set it as a goal for visiting the country, errrr… that sounds like stirring up political controversy, when you are only a visitor and could stir up something and happily move on without taking responsibility for it. Sure, if you are citizen, go for it and discuss all the issues of your own country on vids even in states that you do not live in, but as a visitor or foreign worker, it just seems a little unethical.

  49. It's hilarious to me that you reckon tourism boards will pay for people's trips out there, even when they have no following, to make videos promoting the place. Like, have you ever actually tried calling one and they actually said "sure, we'll pay you to come here"?? No, thought not! 🤣
