In this video I discuss the role of artificial intelligence in education and explore the roles of teachers and intelligent machine to make learning a better experience for everyone.

  1. AI in education enhances learning by personalizing instruction, automating administrative tasks, and providing real-time feedback to students. It helps tailor content to individual needs, making education more accessible and efficient. Additionally, AI tools can assist teachers with grading and identifying learning gaps, allowing for more targeted support.

  2. R we not taking away by AI thinking capability of fresh young minds?it might be at some point useful, but as u said whole library books can be summarised by AI…isn't it not taking away the skills of reading many kinds of books? Or searching capability? Isn't it not making things more simple…meaning kids will never utilise their own critical thinking, their creative skills…when they get easy accessible AI for all their difficulties, questions…who will break heads in thinking deeply?? I believe AI should not be overwhelming..nor overtaking the human capabilities..mostly the young ones..they need to explore, research, struggle so that they will learn how to tackle the difficult situations….i am in doubt n fearing for our future generation…as now past couple of years..might be from the covid time..as studies were online..now after covid too kids r not back with paper n pen, they all r on devices at schools too…no physical books, reading online, homework online, exams online,…soon time will come when they will forget how to use pens and pencils!!! Its sad very sad!! I am not in favour of AI looking at many disadvantages…😢

  3. This is an optimistic outlook. It's exciting to think we can focus on the more human aspects of teaching, but then how many more students am I able to teach? If I go from 100 to 200, do I know each of them individually? If I don't grade their papers, I have to look at the AI generated feedback to see where maybe the problem is, can I be a mentor and not just a cheerleader? Many, many things need to be thought about, will a student who is almost only trained individually be able to connect to other people who share almost no cultural references with that student? I think we barely understand the science behind the development of young brains into mature brains capable of metacognition, who will decide how much "individual" instruction is best for the student and what should be in it? Should a young child be allowed to pick only the topics of interest to them? Could they opt out of topics they do not like? What is that going to look like when these young people need to earn a living? What will higher education mean when you can't really decide what degree that student has and what are the topics and skills they have acquired? Education has important individual consequences, but also huge social repercussions. So far, I haven't heard many arguments made about how AI is going to make everyone able to function as a member of society. We've just had a few years of forced distance learning, with massive changes in edtech and we see that the impact on students is catastrophic. If AI is going to revolutionize teaching and education, it's certainly going to take a long time to iron out the kinks.

  4. Have you questioned why you are now seeing Mass shootings at schools and elsewhere in the United states Could it be the misuse and abuse of AI to brainwash people , kids into believing all sorts >>>>>> Thought about this yet ???

Have you seen the amount of disinformation on Tick Tock yet ?

They have got some of these people , adults and youngsters believing all sorts and dangerously so No I'm not joking at all about this
    **********************************************************************
Watching the BBC this morning reference abuse of AI now evident on UTUBE for science lessons and not being removed fast enough becoming an issue now at schools

    ***********************************************************************
They will use this to start wars , bring about extreme violence , brain wash people so it doesn't take that much working out to realise what the issues will be with bullying and many other issues not just with education but all sorts that will evolve from this and its bad enough already as is with these issues But hey ho U tube and other social websites will do little about this including government due to the advertising monies which is the backbend of this

Kids these days are clever and they will also get up to all sorts with this Common sense some of this for crying out

Do you fancy seeing the your child at school in deep fake child porn because that will be next only AI generated and maybe even by kids thinking as many do at that age , "Its a Joke , funny ha ha 2 , only the blame will then be a teacher or another parent or another kid " , then it will become extreme violence, vigilance with someone getting killed for something that is easily generated with AI and not even connected to that person

What is wrong with you lot wake up before its to late !!

  5. The key words here are"outsource SOME of this", not everything. People need people to learn, not AI. People are losing social skills and critical skills in life because they are passed through classes when they should not be. AI will go ahead and move them forward also when they are not ready to move forward and have not learned critical skills. By learning with teachers, students can also work on their social skills and practice their learnings. We do NOT need AI for everything. Look at the grocery lines where people can not ring up their items correctly and need humans. And how about receiving correct medications and feedback about health? If you replace all people's jobs with AI what will happen in our civilizations??

  6. What you say is extremely important. Most teachers and higher ed lecturers & tutors will probably agree with this, but the main obstacle, it seems, is the bureaucracy, the institution and the traditional organization of schools and universities. That will need to change too, and in depth. In most parts of the world, we are still running on an antiquated model of the late 1800s! It’s time to enact some deep changes at all levels – which means it may not happen overnight in many places.

  7. I don’t understand why AI hasn’t been used to analyze the bible and prophecy. I’d be real curious to see the outcome of that. All the science technocrats can’t be bothered with the greatest question of man? God either is or isn’t. Take the challenge.
