A quantum computer works in a totally different way from a classical computer. Quantum bits or ‘qubits’ can exist in a superposition state of both zero and one simultaneously. This means that a set of two qubits can be in a superposition of four states, which therefore require four numbers to uniquely identify the state. So the amount of information stored in N qubits is two to the power of N classical bits.

Ok, i think i get it. So, 128 qubit quantum computer can brake 128 bit security protocol by it's first try, instantly? 🤔
These guys are speaking very simple English, it's amazing how I dont understand even after watching multiple times.
only thing I can see quantum computing being handy for is as an addon to regular computers to act as a random number generator, as that is very tricky to actually produce normally and get truly random results. but then, why not get something that you can shake with odd angles and read the results… make it small, or instead of shake.. come on follow the thoughts lol
I still don't understand how on earth one would use this or the specific types of calculations it might be good for but its good to hear its not a replacement for classical computers because I do understand how they work
looking whether the concept of qubits was coherent 11 years ago 😁
There is no real way to read data or write data on quntum computers….its only a theory…..what people do not understand….they agree with….
Exactly how I imagined it lol
What the heck is that coefficient stuff.!? 🤔
Is it possible to learn python if you are not a programmer?
Where can i learn more?
Got it. Very few operations required to do gigantic problems, where classical computer sucks.
Sounds like a useless device.
I finally understood quantum computers for real! Thank you!
If we achieve quantum computing by doubling binaries, wouldn't it work exponentially?
I mean if a qubit is 1 and 0 at the same time, what happened if 1 and 0 and 1 and 0 at the same time ….
(sorry I was smoking weed)
How does it perform logic operations on a qbit without measuring it and having it collapse into one state?…
Você vai entrar em coma bro.
Você num pensa não?
Thank you quantom
I'm lost if the quantum computer does not measure the qbits when they are in superposition state how is the computer making use of this supposition state 😞 it must be taking account of it some how for the final answer to be calculated so much faster for certain calculations compared to a traditional digital or super computer to be so much faster? So you have three transistors with 3 electrons , so in quantum theory this is 8 Qbits 8 states not just three bits as a normal digital computers. So how does the quantum computer use these 8 different states to make calculations if it is impossible to measure them in a superposition state. Is this not just a 3 bit digital computer. The guy did not explain this?
its a god form of a computer and would not be useful for a human application…. it would predict the future, see universes away, calculate time travel… things like that
Terms used e.g. 'superposition' and 'state of entanglement' without adequate explanation rendered most of the content confusing.
So to do a computation you have to know the answer and make the quantum computer that is created for that result. This is stupid.
Bit or not tu bit
Great video, but never wear that shirt again.
Me before clicking play: this will finally help me understand what this is
Me 3 seconds in: I’m lost
I love your hairs mama
here watching in 2024 end dec 31st 🥵
So is the quantum computer made of alloys or steel or tin? Silicon or selenium?
With 300 qubits..that are fully entangled..their superpositions or current locations can be as varied as the number of particles contained in the universe? Quantum computers were designed then in an attempt to foresee the future..thats what I've gathered from the video..they want to predict the future and the implications of what this means are huge and horrible…my basis for saying this is that that man was hinting that quantum computers are best for graphs and models of things with many variables rather than streaming a video..it creates graphs and models and rakes in many variables to predict with a hopeful certainty of the owner of the equipment ,the future.
Completely useless.
So essentially the larger the problem is; the quantum computer produces a solve exponentially faster.
QBS.
So i can't play crisis at 3000fps?😢
Rigetti is threatening my liberty
Great explanation. The only and man questions how to compute using this alpha beta gama propability numbers in front of state and how to prepare correct state with required probability. I think it is still impossible. I did not find any good explanations who made it.
A quantum computer will solve NP-complete problems and hence are a headache for cybersecurity defenses.
I need it explained how they get the data in and the data out.
Still don't understand 😢😢
Wow I can say I kind of get Quantum Computing now. This guy is truly smart, the smartest people can explain stuff in a way were people who maybe aren't as smart as them can kind of get it and think. Hey, this is pretty cool.
What a ridiculous presentation
Nice shirt bro.
Not.
This is 11 years ago? Wow
Watching this while Google's brand new Willow Quantum chip is full-on buzzing around 🥲👌🏻
Here's to a new future into quantum computing & parallel universe possibilities! 🥂
1:37 But how are the probability coefficients of the quantum particles calculated without affecting the particles location or energy?
time to update the video buddy! we need more in depth information now.
Simple explaination to a complicated concept.
whats the name of that teacher who were explaining the thing? because he is realy magnificant!
That helps! Thanks!
I didn’t know it wasn’t a replacement for classical computers.
