I started freelancing and struggled to hard (actually it was easy for me then others because I have a really strong will power ). I am making good amount of money, really good actually and have reapears in my degree. The fun fact is I don't have to take care of that because no one never asked for it. Without degree you can learn everything bt you can’t be expert. Every legend came from same fild education. Dont become a victim like those people. Once your life cross 30 it’s really hard to get back graduation class. The people who divert you thay all are uneducated that why thay are doing blogging and all.

I am 43 and a freelancer music programmer. I earn little below 1lac p/m now and I have no proper musical and sound designing education. I see lots and lots of young people with no skills and knowledge, buying new costly gear and claiming themselves as "professionals". They come and go like a breeze. but I succeded(in my level). And my secret is that I started all this when I was 16 years old and only kept doing it as my only goal. I am from a very poor family and my family had to sacrifice a lot just so I can pursue music as a career. and now when I have a decent lifestyle of financial freedom and comfort, my parents are not there to enjoy! long story short – no matter what you choose to do. Consistency is The key To Success!

As a content writer I would say yeah in initial days you need to struggle for clients and payment but as the time passes as you grows as your service's quality grow. Beleive me you can earn more than salaried employees!
