My 5th generation has been unplugged and put back in its box in the closet for several weeks. I’ve deleted the app. Today it started talking to me. Something about not connecting to the Internet. That is very creepy. Everything I’ve read about this says it cannot function unless plugged in. How did this happen? I feel like banning it from the house!

Alexa has proven that I am too stupid for all this tech stuff. For a while I enjoyed it, but both units stopped working properly and I just can’t get them back to full functionality.
