Education technology has a history of overpromising and under-delivering. For decades, tools such as personalized learning, programs like One Laptop per Child, interactive whiteboards, and even “Zoom school” have found their way into the classroom. Proponents of each of these technologies vowed that their tool would transform the education sector, but most failed to have a lasting impact on student outcomes. Will artificial intelligence be any different?
In this webinar, Arman Jaffer, the CEO of Brisk Teaching, will present on his company’s AI-based teacher tool. Following the presentation, AEI’s John Bailey, Alex Baron of E. L. Haynes Public Charter School, Daisy Christodoulou of No More Marking, and AEI’s Robert Pondiscio will join Mr. Jaffer in a discussion about the promises and pitfalls of this new age of education technology.
