Wrong. The black cord is not a charging cable. It’s a power adapter that will plug into the echo spot so it’s a wired if it was a charging cable then you could unplug it and take the echo spot wherever you want

I actually got this, upgrading from a Echo Dot 5th Gen with Clock. It's so much more useful, the LED display on the dot was very unuseful, but the display on the spot is a lot more interactive. I recommend this 🙂

I know nothing about Amazon Echo Dot, but my first thought was the privacy concerns

This does the exact same thing as a regular alexa device (without the screen)

It is not a charging cable, it is a power supply for the device.

Amazon released the Echo Spot in 2017 and Discontinued it in 2019 which it has a Circlular display. I do have the 2017 Echo Spot and I will want to Compare the 2017 and 2024 Echo Spot since I will get the 2024 Echo Spot
