In this video, I’ll go over the pros and cons of building a full stack web app vs building a mobile app for your next SaaS project. I’ve personally built both web apps and mobile apps across 12 different SaaS projects and these are some of my thoughts on the pros and cons of each type of development.

so web app is better with JS you get 100% of your sales….
One big advantage for the web based app is the amount Apple and Google takes in comparison to what Stripe takes.
on that note, I just realized that the only apps that I have ever used apart from games are youtube whatsapp udemy and spotify, and this kinda makes me feel ashamed for some reason.

HI BRO I'M AN ABSOLUTE BEGGINER AT WEBDEV
WHAT'S YOUR ADVICE TO ME
AND THANK YOU
I have an existing PtQt application.. is there a simple way a browser could control (ex. websockets) and display whatever is shown in my PyQt gui window?
For example, is the only way is to add a webserver to my existing script (FastAPI , Flask-SocketIO, etc).. or could I periodically screen-capture the PyQt window (PyAutoGUI, Multiple Screenshots Simple), and send it to the browser somehow?
I've seen other solutions (Eel , Tornado, aiohttp, Starlette, etc), but not sure if it can stream whatever on my gui screen!
What would you do if you needed to implement some complicated backend logic? I typically develop in Python and am trying to learn more about app development here. Supabase seems to handle a ton out of the box, but if my service requires some complicated logic in the back, would I be able to integrate that logic into supabase or would I need to setup a new api specifically for that logo?
Dude this video is so helpful. What are some best practices for code and database for people building a web application that will eventually be available in a mobile app? A seamless method ideally.
