Ive only set up some lights behind my TV and computer desk. But that makes a huge difference to the way you watch movies or work from home making things more pleasant to see and easier on the eyes. So many things out there you could find things and have a never ending idea pool for almost anything.
there are some people that aren't technology savvy. The smart plugs do not work on anything with a plug. If its not a mechanical switch on the item it will not work. I had to try to explain that to my father when he got one of the smart plugs and couldn't figure out why he couldn't use it to turn on his TV. His TV has a software power switch .. if you turn it on and unplug it and plug it back in it will not turn on .. it goes into "sleep" or "low power" mode .. you actually have to touch the "momentary" switch or use the remote.
