This is an excellent video. Thank you! It looks like a great device but weird that the software is so limited. Seems like it should be like a Fire TV with more 3rd party apps. Just need to be sure Browser, Spotify and YT are covered so maybe some sw was fixed. I also have the privilege of seeing my family photos, and I might note the picture quality is amazing. I found a bracket that enables me to fold it flat underneath the cabinets or extend it out in front of the cabinets vertically or horizontally. The size is so much bigger than my existing Echo unit – and I consider this a complete home run for what I like and use in my kitchen. What I really like about this is that I was able to get it off my counter and a little higher than my base cabinet, please see the picture. It’s not in the way, but it’s not out of the way. With a swivel I attached the back able to spin it from one side of my kitchen to the other. The quality of the audio is very very impressive. I will be adding some speakers by way of old First generation echo (cylinder) units so my friend can have surround sound experience in the kitchen. Thanks for such a great product – it was by accident I stumbled across this on Amazon. I should also note that I did take out the extended warranty in case my expectations come to an abrupt end. But right now I’m crazy about it.
Have been using this at least a year. Replaced a show 8. It ignores me whenever I talk to it. Then, when I go to an adjoining room and talk to an Echo Dot, it responds to my Dot commands. I am ready to replace it with an old Show 8. It's that bad.

I bought the echo show 8 today, then took it back for refund. It’s an absolutely pointless device for me. Wanted an alternative to Facebook Portal Go, but cant load any apps, can’t Skype, can’t video messenger, can’t WhatsApp messenger, has no battery, d the sound nowhere near as good as the Portal Go. Absolutely pointless. I’m guessing the echo show 10 won’t be much different, so will give it a miss. Just an expensive intercom.

It lags while it's sending all your movements and videos its secretly taken of you, over to Bezos. Should only take a few minutes every hour

I got my Amazon show because of having Verizon home Internet and I consider it a $250 mistake that I'm glad I didn't have to pay for. It does not listen to commands very well and is very inconsistent.
