How to start a blog using WordPress?

👉 First, consider the niche for your blog. Find a topic you are passionate about to make blogging more enjoyable.

👉 Then, choose your web hosting plan and a domain name. After setting up your hosting account and registering your domain, install an SSL certificate to increase your website’s security and credibility.

👉 The next step is to create pages, such as the Home, About, and Contact pages. Head to Dashboard – Pages – Add New to create them. Don’t forget to delete the default Sample page as you no longer need it.

👉 Another essential aspect in starting a blog is Categories to separate different topics. We recommend changing every WordPress blog post’s default Uncategorized to a specific category.

👉 You can create subcategories for particular topics to organize your blog better. Select a Parent Category for niche topics. For example, the Desserts can be a subcategory under the Recipes on a food blog.
