  1. Salesforce CEO-We are not hiring any engineers this year (2025) because of AI.
Reality-Salesforce has already applied for 400+ H-1b visas, many in QA and Junior Dev.
META-Lays off 4000+ people this year, has already applied for 1600+ H-1b visas, many in Junior Dev and QA.
These companies are not even trying to find locals, and don't care. They are backfilling with H-1b visas after mass layoffs.
META was caught doing this, and also lying about these layoffs being performance related (Zuck probably that would be enough cover to start backfilling with H-1b visas). But no, it didn't work. The administration threatened them with lawsuits. So they are now forced to do a staggered layoff to stay under the "Mass Layoff" description, which means staggering the layoffs at 90 day intervals.
The data on the H-1b applications is from the U.S. 1st Quarter 2025 LCA application data.

  2. Fake news alert!!

It should be Infosys (INFY). Not (INT) Intel.
It should be Cognizant (CTSH). Not (CASH) Cash app.

Infosys and Cognizant are both heavily services based companies.

    The graph is just wrong.

My last comment was deleted from this channel when I presented the same info. Might happen again.

  3. What I do not get is this oft repeated ignorant comment that H1B jobs are cheap. The median H1B salary was $98,000 in 2024 and the average was higher at $165000, showing that some H1B candidates receive top 5 percentile salaries. Almost all H1Bs are sponsored by big tech like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Apple, Tata etc and they all pay pretty good salaries. These companies have multi trillion dollar capitalizations and do not skimp out on pay. These are people holding PhDs and other spectacular academic achievements. H1Bs for some years now are going to only the top talent recruited by top companies. Some applications may have sneaked through but those are exceptions and not the norm. The reality is the US needs far more than 85,000 STEM visas to compete effectively in various fields including technology and medicine. People in Trump's administration know all this. So the moronic comments here are just amusing.

  4. If the H-1B visas were only about lowering costs, they would hire the Indian in India, and pay him one quarter or less of what they pay for an H-1B, that shows that even if wages are part of the issue, it's far from the only one. Also, the USA wasn't to build chips in USA there are very few Americans with the expertise (and most of them are already working with Intel), so the only way to build high-performance, state-of-the-art is to hire from Taiwan, Japan, etc.

  5. For billionaires, it is cheaper to import educated people than to manufacture them domestically. If you cut the education budget and put into infrastructure and defense you take money from American children and give it to the rich! American born people are systematically discriminated against in STEM. That is why there is talk about cutting the Department of Education. There is nothing to stop the exclusion of American born people in STEM other than DEI – That's why is it under attack.

  6. I am an indian who is now a US citizen, so I really know all H1-b lies

Agencies helping their contract H1-b people by doing their work

H1-b workers who don’t know how to work putting their work on one of the team mates head
Honestly 50 percent of H1-b workers are less experienced than an actual American IT graduate

Fake experience, fake certificates, paying agency to run fake paychecks..

And here many real talends who are US citizens unable to switch job and working for lower salary

  7. H1 B is a lottery, you are getting cab drivers who are then run to H1B body mills and put into tech companies as programmers
No the H1 B does not bring in the best and brightest it is a fraud / scam and once Indians get into management positions its gave over for getting hired unless you are an Indian, if you do manage to land a job forget about getting promoted even if you outperform on all metrics. Indians primarily hire and promote Indians only unless they are forced to do otherwise

  8. They been working on this for 35 years with money from the system and its still not fixed? Sounds those in charge of that US training program need to be replaced because they are failing.

  9. When people are talking about H1B's again and again ….also consider the consensus decision from the universities across US… Most of the master programs are filled with international students as domestic students already have a huge loan to pay off after under graduation as their parents don't support to pay fee for education. If master programs are not filled with students then universities lose out-of-state fee which are huge and essential to support paying admin expenses, research and there by jobs both faculty & staff will be impacted significantly. Its a misconception that H1b's are preferred over Citizen's and that's not true.
Where did Elon Musk (Tesla / SpaceX ) come from ? Where did Jensen Huang (Nvidia) come from ? Where did Lisa Su (AMD) come from?.
STEM programs needs to be encouraged in schools and even today most of the STEM program's are dominated by south asian students in USA by percentage counts and that's quite alarming.

  10. Comments full of Indians looking to get into the USA. All American kids can do coding and enjoy tech work. They're just not as subservient and willing to do any unscrupulous thing they're ordered to do by their visa sponsor. I don't blame them either the situation in India is dire, but with over 1 Billion people there they can side 350millon Indian tech workers and India wouldn't bat an eyelash

  11. Companies are paying the government to fund education for Americans as part of the fees paid to getting an H1B VISA. What is the government doing with this money? What is the current status of Americans in training for the jobs for which H1Bs were hired? Why isn't the ignorant media asking these questions?

  12. Ban H1B, Let all Indian Workers go back to their country – (Get employment in the same American company in India). – Pay taxes to India – Basically the Job roles will be moved to India.

Anyway USA cannot compete with Chinese innovation by their US born workforce.

  13. Here is a fact that most of you guys are not discussing. If all H1B’s are just cheap labor then why do most of these H1B visa holders become silicon Valley startups or become CEO’s of major companies. And most of them are Indian who were H1b visa holders. You think Elon musk just hires cheap labor to work at the most advanced Rocket company in the world? This level of engineering is way over everyone’s head. And he has a giant H1B workforce. Even his CTO is Indian. Silicon Valley has a lot of respect for Indians because they helped create with Silicon Valley is today. From Intel and its early days to every other company you name it. Sam Hyde has a really crappy argument against this. China doesn’t need Indians because they have their own in-house talent and plenty of them. They don’t have a brain drain because they never have to leave. This is one man spewing zero facts based on what he thinks not on facts..

This is the real reason they want Indians in the country. And its not for cheap labor. It just makes business sense. And Trump knows this, so do Elon, And Vivek. Here are some facts:

Indians are worth more than their weight in gold to Americas Economy. The Are only 1% of the population. Indians aren't taking jobs they are creating them.

Here are the statistics and impact of jobs created by Indians living in the USA:

    1. Indian-American Entrepreneurs
    • Indian-Americans have founded or co-founded over 25% of startups in Silicon Valley, contributing significantly to job creation.
    • A 2022 study estimated that Indian-origin entrepreneurs in the U.S. generated over 1.6 million jobs through their businesses.

    2. Indian-Owned Companies
    • A 2020 report by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) highlighted that 155 Indian companies operating in the U.S. directly created 125,000 jobs in various sectors like IT, healthcare, and manufacturing.

    3. Small and Medium Enterprises
    • Indian Americans own over 40% of the U.S. hotel industry, employing hundreds of thousands in the hospitality sector.
    • Small businesses, including gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants, add to local employment across states.

    4. High-Tech Jobs
    • Indian immigrants hold key roles in technology companies, with many in executive leadership positions that result in significant U.S. job growth.
    • Examples:
    • Satya Nadella at Microsoft, employing over 220,000 people.
    • Sundar Pichai at Google, with over 170,000 employees worldwide, many in the U.S.

    5. Broader Impact
    • Indian-Americans account for less than 1% of the U.S. population but are responsible for creating or supporting millions of jobs across industries.

These statistics underscore the significant contribution of the Indian diaspora to the U.S. economy through entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation.

  14. The difference between quality of H1B and American workers is clear from companies like Boeing …… unless you want American technology to fail like planes falling out the sky Americans should be competing with high tech and highly skilled H1Bs

  15. H1-B visa is a total scam. Only 5% are really good. Remaining 95% are below average. I came on H1-B 31 years ago and know how companies misuse them. I hope the Trump administration fixes the loop hole. If you get someone on H1-B, their starting salary can't be below $150,000 or else American citizens will lose this race.

  16. So people are ignoring the elephant in the room. Capitalism needs workers, if they aren't allowed in the country, they'll simply outsource the jobs. Capitalists won't think of the welfare of the countrymen over profits.
