I have 2 remarks: 1. Second Screen does work with a USB cable since One UI 7.
2. I think it would've been worth mentioning that with Link to Windows you can open multiple apps from your phone onto your PC screen at the same time, or even use an app on your phone and a different one on your windows PC.

Sometimes QuickShare doesnt work for me. but when i downloaded the Google QuickShare app from windows instead of Samsung's, it hasn't had any flaw since and it works the same way, with nearby devices appearing and all that. I did have to sign in to my google account though

ive always thought that dex would be perfect if you have a low end pc
simply get a low end laptop or even only a monitor an d keyboard,
and you have a PC now…and you only paid for a phone.

Everything here is true. Tried and tested it. Even the Earbuds works seemlessly on the Samsung Monitor M7. It is also true about the the connection of the earbuds, they connect automatically to which samsung gadget you are using. I complete the experience by buying the Samsung Keyboard Trio and Samsung Slim mouse, and I can use the keyboard as a remote for the Samsung Smart Monitor.

i stopped bringing my laptop , not i just bring a wireless foldable keyboard with a touchpad , and just connect to any hotel room screen , i use this hack since 2022

Fun fact.. Dex also works with casting dongles like a microsoft mirror cast which makes it a lot more useful than people think.

Apple's so-called "ecosystem" is more like a technology prison, that traps its users into a maze redundancy. Samsung's family of devices is a true example of an ecosystem that does so much more by way of practical inclusion of other devices.

I use the "Blip" app on my samsung phone – I can drop files and photos to my macbook and ipad from that phone, using Blip. it's awesome! and faster than airdrop, too.

I use Dex mostly when I am at work. I have another Keyboard-Mouse-Monitor-Dock setup that I sometimes connect my phone to if I am not using for anything else. It works pretty well, although it seems like some dock support is hit-or-miss

i just got the Samsung S25 ultra and the TV share thing blew my mind. I'm always talking about wanting to display my phone on a bigger screen and I had no idea samsung devices could do this. I'm a long time apple user and the s25 ultra is just my second samsung phone but i have to admit i prefer Samung's ecosystem to apple.

Being in the Apple ecosystem makes you feel luxurious because you have to own a apple devices to be in that ecosystem. Samsungs ecosystem is a mess because everyone is welcome to it like Microsoft and dex works with every smart tv etc. I like feeling luxurious especially with the money i spent on the Apple devices but with Samsung I would feel like a hooker sucking up to other companies with my ecosystem. Apple ecosystem is miles ahead from Samsungs ecosystem
