All we hear about today is big tech companies worth trillions of dollars that make big moves and change the world, so much so that many people that is what tech is. But there’s a whole other side of tech companies that most people don’t even know about, with unique stories that break the mold of the traditional Silicon Valley model, and they are changing the way new tech companies are built. From Midjourney’s and David Holz’s crazy wild ride, to the new wave of indie hackers
🖖 Hey! I’m Enrico and on this channel I go behind the scenes of the design, psychology and stories behind tech and making stuff on the internet. I’m a tech Product Manager, builder of digital stuff, YouTube aficionado (and overall meme connoisseur). I am also a rare Italian who doesn’t know how to cook.

Who else here after the Disney v. Midjourney lawsuit?
Hey, nice video but I have to suggest something. Your voice level isn't stable and at times gets very low, you can use a compressor to fix this. Because it's very much needed, your voice shouldn't be fluctuating this much. other than that, good video
This was an awesome video! thank you, YT algorithm, for blessing me today #subbed
More people need to see this. Great story telling , and great editing
I think you got my intention so wrong…
My startup idea is the solution and product needed under the model.
I was thinking to sell to bank, I got money, then hire people for prototype, I don't want u to join like Friend doing free works… Or maybe you already have fund or resources but lacking of ideas, like a coin project?
No wonder I can never understand your priority right
Great video!
Today I learned I've been running an "anti-startup" since the late 90s
There's a limit to what you can do by boostrapping. How would have Amazon boostrapped?
Man your editing is so good. Massive respect for the amount of work that must go into this.
I respect the alternative view. It's great that the world has more entrepreneurs that are choosing this path. But I think you're leaning a little too hard on the side of going the "indiehacker route". It sounds as though you're completely dismissing the achievements of the startups we all know and love. You must consider that conventional startups often create whole industries, while "anti-startups" build on what others have started. "Anti-startups" get to learn from the past mistakes of others and improve things without taking the same risks and making the same sacrifices as the pioneers.
I don't think this is more popular because usually a company like midjourney would get bought out by twitbook or alibabazon
So after a year most of them are gone …
For the love of god. Can someone please share the discord link. It’s so hard to find
italy almost became siliconvally????
Investments are the roots of financial security; the deeper they grow, the stronger your future will be."
"Anti-startup: starting a business the normal way. Or, When tech Bros invent something that already exists.
great vid! keep up going
I think there is a beautiful middle ground where you take some external funding, but use it wisely instead of burning cash meaninglessly.
product hunt or indie hacker
daje enricoooo
Make it >>>>>>>>> Fake it
Been thinking this for a long time. I saw the money wasting trends and went "fuck that"
these are just adorable stories

Becoming an Indie filmmaker is also similar. Rather than making a 300 million dollar film and earning revenues worth 1000 million dollars. Indie filmmakers make a film with just 1 million or less and then earn 5 to 6 million back. Living a simply and easy life full of freedom.
why fix something that isnt broken…
Hi Enrico …nice video… could you make a video on the denial of the exit plan… I mean…why is the logout button in many of these social media platforms, OOT apps, other apps,….so hidden…and even if you can track it down…they give you offers like to pause the usage and return back after a few months or years…why are they not letting you exit their systems….I can see the same attitude towards the consumer/ user in super markets, modern cloverleaf infested highways….its like Hotel California…you enter but you can never leave…
I didn't know it was called indie hacking but that's what I'm doing. I want to build something and maintain full control. I want the freedom.
i loved this man. Get them coming
Wow silicon valley really invents everything. They even invented the small business 🎉
when i hear tech company i think of huge data centers, modern offices and gentrification lol I think of facebook, google and tesla. we aren't in the 90s my guy
Hahahahahahahaha "hip start-up raising a hundred million dollars to build an AI toaster". A great descripton of what we've turned the modern times into
PhotoAI has terrible reviews though, did u know that? Apparently it really sucks and it's a sc@m
10:18. $2000 a day not a month
the basics of ai lol
midjourney is a scam there is no way to engineer a prompt it's just random
this was good!
