  1. I received 3 from Frontier, not even sure why?

I set one up seems to be working the lite is white?

What's next with the othe two?

I used same network name and password, right thing to do no idea?

App , not that interested, will it just work without?

  2. Hi. New to all this. I have broadband with BT and their router isn't the best in terms of signal strengh. If I buy the eero does that mean I replace my bt router with eero or do I connect the eero to my BT router. Someone please help. Thanks

  3. Why did you buy seven nodes? The system obviously was not working after three nodes. You should have taken your loss and bought another system. Oh, and Google WiFi Mesh System thanks you for being a repeat customer.

  4. Are these just routers or can they be used as modems? I'm kind of confused because I've been seeing the ISP company talk talk mentioning giving away these with a new contract which to me would make me think its a modem router?

  5. Help ,,,I have concrete walls and the eero still isn't helping. Only the main node has the Ethernet jack in the most recent version. The two others only have the power jack. Because of the concrete walls I was just going to run long Ethernet lines to the other nodes.

  6. I have an eero as well but it’s important to note for any mesh system that you don’t want too many. Much of the issues you were having with the google mesh system are likely because you have too many close together. This causes cancellation in the wavelengths between nodes and will make signal worse. As an example if your house is under 2,000 sq ft, you should not buy more than 1 eero pro 6. 7 google mesh nodes in a single story home is definitely part of the problem.

  7. Good information but like so many other YouTube videos…
In order see your review one has to sit through 2 1/2 minutes about your old unit. this makes your video more than six minutes whereas without including the reason why you switched it would’ve been only 3 1/2 minutes.
Believe me, many people look at the duration of the video when choosing what to watch.
If you’d added “ plus 2 1/2 minutes of random information about what I had for breakfast, changing engine oil and cleaning a toilet“ I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t get many views.
We want to see what the title tells us we’re going to see, not the random stuff. Other than the random stuff, you did good.

  8. I purchased these and they are awesome, The information I read on Amazon says after they are set up you can unplug them and plug them in another room and about a couple minutes later they work well in the new location. True. Since installing them my internet connections are stronger and my WiFi access has never dropped. A very dood purchase, in my opinion.

  9. Thank you so much for the great review. Based on your review I have ordered the eero 3 packs and they are great. I have 2 questions please, Did you add more eero nods or the 3 pack are sufficient? Do you recommend paying for eero secure subscription? Thank you

  10. Hey, I just came across your video and wanted to share some knowledge. It looks like you have AT&T so you may want to make sure you have wifi disabled and IP passthrough & dynamic DCHP enable on the AT&T modem router combo. Otherwise both the eero and AT&T unit may each try to be acting as the router. Next you'll want the eero plugged into port # 1 and you shouldn't use the other 3 ports on the at&t unit. You should buy an Ethernet switch and setup like this. AT&T modem/router combo with wifi disabled & IP passthrough, dynamic DCHP turned on -> eero -> Ethernet switch -> your hardwired devices. That may be why you were having drop outs with the Google Wifi

  11. Google failed to upgrade the hardware. Their software is perfect but this idiots fail to upgrade their stuff. Same thing is happening with nest alarm. Everytime google comes out with something new, it’s the best in the market but they never update their stuff. They just ditch their projects..

  12. I currently have Frontier internet. They gave me a gateway (I believe that is what it’s called… modem and router in 1) My questions are, will my gateway work or I need a modem only? Also, will this have it’s own network name or does it copy the same credentials as your existing network? TIA

  13. Just set up TP Link DECOs S4…3 pack..This is my first "mesh wifi" for the house. Before I used a NetGear WIFI Router Combo for the whole house and it worked but not optimized.. My connection ISP at that time was is 60 down 15 up….now i have 200 down, 50 up (upgraded) the house is ~1500 sq Feet and we reconfigured the wall from the living room to the kitchen years ago. We get full bars in every room of the house and from the street/patio signal drops some but it is still great. The house is a L configuration and the primary node is in the corner of the living room with the secondary nodes in two bedrooms. If possible centralize your primary node in the house and get an understanding of catchment areas to where you can place the secondary nodes. On the Deco the secondary Nodes do not talk each other only back to the primary making this a hub type mesh. Not fully. For the $$ I am happy with the simplistic setup/app and the performance of these extenders.
