2024-2025 BMW 7 Series Level 3 highly automated driving, which allows drivers to take their hands off the steering wheel and temporarily divert their attention away from the road, will be available in the new BMW 7 Series. BMW Personal Pilot L3 is the name of the new function that relieves the person at the wheel of the task of driving in certain situations and controls the car’s speed, distance to the vehicle ahead and lane positioning for them. This new option can be ordered for the new BMW 7 Series (excluding the i7 eDrive50 and i7 M70 xDrive) from December to be fitted in vehicles from next March.
Designed to assume the entire task of driving with Level 3 capability as defined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the highly automated driving function will be offered exclusively in Germany priced at 6,000 euros (incl. VAT).
This innovative technology allows drivers to redirect their focus to other in-vehicle activities when travelling at up to 60 km/h (37 mph) on motorways with structurally separated carriageways. Thanks to its particularly sophisticated sensors, this is the first system of its kind that can also be used in the dark.

It’s not safe to stop in highway
Silver parts inside the car… it's a nightmare. If the sun hits any of them, you'll get sun glare and it's often horrible. Another thing that's just horrible is the crystal that goes from side to side, it looks like an ambulance.
I expected that bmw will jump the obstacle 😢

I loved BMWs, had an M5 E39 and so many other models, but they changed so much, I would not buy one today… Not only are they ugly but the interior looks not good anymore… But others might like it, I don't anymore…

In love with exterior and the tech but I want 2016-2021 interior style why is this new EVish design so like bland just screen and ambient strips I mean that looks so boring. Ambient strips look super dope but u cant do anything with them but look at them and you stop caring about that after few months of owning this. Only reason I’d get exclusively pre 2021 model if I got BMW. Loving my eqc so far so underrated car.

Тем более вот так бездарно затормозить и подставить свой зад идущей сзади машине, поддон виден был минимум за сто метров и можно было предпринять более безопасное решение, а не резко тормозить за десять метров от препятствия. Искусственному интеллекту ещё очень далеко ……
