I will never again buy a Amazon tablet. It doesn't have Google services. I switched to a Samsung Galaxy tablet and I'm so glad I did.

Paid $110 on black friday week.How can you beat that.Installed google play store with all their apps.I have had a Samsung S7 plus and S8 Ultra.Of course it doesnt compete with those,and isnt meant to.I dont use one enough to justify the $700 price tag of the others,thats why I sold them.

I have used my 7" Fire for over 5 years, no problems. The new 11" should be better…I believe I will be purchasing one. The 7" was never considered to be a toy…

I just wish Amazon would offer the option to give consumers 2 different versions of The fire tablet. One with fire OS and the other with full Android. I personally don't like the OS on the fire tablet

another crappy e-waste tablet that tries to look good and that's where all the money goes, i'd rather have the cheapest looking tablet with good ram and a good chip. This thing is going to seem fast until a few months later.

I got this for my mom – she just wants to watch show on a tablet and maybe use tiktok – and she LOVES this tablet. I got her the keyboard and the pen that goes with it too and she uses it for recipes and notes as well. the screen looks really great, the tablet is slim, as are the bezels. This is a solid product and it comes at a really great price.

Amazon offers an alternstive to owning an Apple IPad which is ridiculously expensive and most computer users only do net shopping watching YouTube paying bills online which this Amazon tablet is perfect. My caveat about this tablet is just way too heavy for a 17oz. tablet in comparison to a Fire Tablet 7 which is basically weighs nothing….

They need this crammed in an 8.8 inch tablet. My mediapad is cracked and the only dope small tablet is the Lenovo legion which I'd need to import. Decisions decisions.

Walmart's Onn tablet has better specs and none of the bloatware or forced updates for the same price.

my current tablet is literally a fire 7, it's very small, very laggy, and has just barely over 5gb of storage in total, with over 2gb of that being system apps???? so looking at this IN COMPARISON, it's an absolute dream and would be incredible. but also I'm definitely getting a mid range samsung tablet when I get around to upgrading 😭😭

I just bought the 10 (13 gen), and a lot of what you say here holds true for the 10. I say it is basically a Kindle with add-ons. As a Kindle reader it is better than the Paperwhite for less money. It is just the right size for reading. The Amazon App Store offerings suck however. I sideloaded the google play store and loaded apps that I had already paid for from the Play Store that Amazon doesn't have. The main reason I bought a Fire was that it is the only device that Amazon allows to have text-to-speech functionality. With the size of the screen it is great for sharing pictures that I have taken on my S22 Ultra. (screen on the phone is too small, and PC's are too immobile.) Just so long as you accept that these aren't I-pads (or even budget Samsungs) you should be happy. (I got mine for less than $100 which is a great deal)

the screen is brighter and higher quality than the a9 plus. It's also more durable than the Samsung you referred to here

I want some apps such as Reddit added to their app store. If there was more selection of applications, I would be buying the Max 11.
