I mean everyone wants to slam the new phone (samsung and apple) for looking like last year…but exactly what would be "dramatic"? People that buy a phone every year have a problem and need new stuff to feel good. those of us that keep a device for 2 or more years appreciate the new device since it is an upgrade over a 2 or 3 year old device.
Any of that AI on the phone or everything is cloud?
The s24 line was perfect – fast, stable, great hardware design. Glad they gave buyers another year’s shot at it
But I am looking for an answer to my question… Is it worth to upgrade to the S24 Ultra, or the S25 Ultra. I do love those S Pens, but I am still on the A33 5G.
Maybe Samsung should have renamed it the NS-Ultra (Not-So)? These problems with Samsung removing things all the time are reducing the value and bringing the Note/Ultra line down to mediocre status… The headphones, The headphone jack, the Micro SD slot, the IR blaster the charger, and now the square edges and a Bluetooth S-Pen, all gone… Without its features and differences it's becoming just another slab phone. Yeah, it's got an S-Pen but that may be gone in the next version because according to their data, only a few really use the pen…
Oh well it was nice while it lasted…
Glad i got the red magic 10
The issue i have with software updates is, we should get them anyway. If you are releasing a new phone that is essentially 4 years old, just lower the price. We shouldn't be paying £1k+ for phones in 2025, it's way to expensive for very little return given what you get very similar on a 600 or less phone.
This is why I haven't updated in 2 years and 4 before that.
They still had scope to improve the cameras which feels like it either hasn't happened or been mentioned.
Samsung Fanboys are on suicide watch.
Including me.
Oneplus 13 is probably the best phone of the era waiting for apple now .
Why are we even still doing camera bumps? I thought that would be a fad that died by now. They can make it flush with the rest of the phone. Sure, it would make the phone larger overall, but you can use the size to put in a longer lasting battery. Isnt that what most people want?
It feels like Samsung lost innovation. So many similarities to the iPhone lol to even all the same marginal upgrades that came to the 16PM, (smaller screen bezel, titanium build, bigger camera rings, 6.9 screen size, similar Lock Screen and Home Screen customization , etc)
“Ban Huawei so that we stop innovating” no competition no innovation
Also they are bringing a lot of these AI updates to at least the 23 Ultra as well because I can do most of these AI gestures besides the Gemini + Bixby search. I think the 25 just makes it look nicer but it's not anything new unfortunately.
I might actually upgrade from the s22 ultra then.
This year's lineup would be arguably the lowest sales they've ever had in recent times!
They could've at least upgraded the battery to 5,500mAh
There's not compelling reason to upgrade even from an S23U
Probably from an S10
Not worth the upgrade yet. I'll upgrade my s23 ultra when the Ai can read my mind and assist me then. Link into my spectrum
MKDHD can you confirm you got the 16gb variant idk if you ever have the upgrade tho?
Love the blue colour reminds ke of my OnePlus 8 pro blue. Love it 😍.
I already have s23 ultra so from the looks of it it's not that different. Except that camera 📸. S23ULTRA has great camera so its enough.
Well time to start buying those off brand phones. Seems like my favorite phone company is starting to look like a iphone with those rounded edges disappointing to say the least. If your not going to change the look of the phone just come out with an update for all the Samsung phones instead of duping your customers into getting a new phone cause there old phone won't take the update.
IPHONE'S NIGHTMARE 😂
Samsung is the new Apple
The way tech industry works for mobile phones you will soon run out of material for doing awesome videos
I still have my S21+ 5G lol. I was looking forward to this phone but maybe I'll upgrade to S24 or an iPhone
Well this helped me wait again. I have the 23 Ultra and thought about getting a new phone but this just make me want to just keep my phone until something great comes out
Ever since S22U (since they stopped seriously updating) i ditched Samsung for Honor, a company that actually pushes forward.
Had Magic5pro and now folding V3. Loving them!
Although… Honor Magic7pro that just came out shows the same signs of stalling as Samsung does, so I hope they won't adopt the trend.
