How much do you need to spend on a 165 Hz gaming monitor? These super cheap monitors must be bad, right?

I have been using KTC-H24T09P for more than an year now and its certainly a very good screen especially for gaming but it has really bad backlight uniformity which is not visible in games and daily use but very prominent in the dark especially when watching movies.
Are the recommended settings the same for the new H24T09P 180Hz alt?
Thank you for the great review, you really helped me
they not this cheap now 🤬
I have three of the 32" curved version of these monitors. First, the stand for these is awful. It takes up too much space and the only adjustment you can make is tilting the monitor up and down. No height adjustment, and the stand puts the monitor like, 4" above my desk. I had to get risers for my gaming seat to keep from straining my neck while looking up.
However, my biggest complaint is their claim that these monitors are "frameless". They are not. All of their adds show a monitor with the picture going right up to the edge of the display. Uh Uh. They most certainly do not do this. This was one of the features that sold me on these. But it isn't rue. In my triple monitor setup, I have two 9/16" black stripes in my display. Frameless my a**. I reached out to KTC about this and they said while the monitors are "frameless," they do have a 5.75mm "no display" zone around the edge. Yeah, hidden in the fine print. The pictures in their adds say one thing but the actual monitor sings a different tune. i will NOT be recommending KTC monitors in the future.
5:19 1440:1 on a 1440p monitor 😂😂😂
das deutsch am ende hat mich so gefickt
i want the KTC but it’s not available in the UK :(((
try the CRUA 24 inch180hz curved monitor ita only 100 dollars
i have another koorui monitor which has 1ms, 165hz and full hd for under 100€
44 Seconds into the video. That monitor looks relatively similar outer front panel with my 32" Samsung Odyssey G55A 165Hz monitor. I'm still happy I nabbed it up at $199.99 at the end of August 2024 as it is going for $309.93 today. I'll probably buy two of those cheaper variants as side monitors. 🤔
you look AI generated
KTC
Don’t buy a koorui the colors were unbearable and it had ghosting I returned it the next day
Can u make a video on how to adjust these settings to make the screen the way you would want it plz 🙏
The real question is how long did they last?!

i was looking at the AOC 27G4XE 27 gaming monitor but i don't know much about monitors so i don't know if it's good or bad
Really monitor upto 119 rupees or more price
The MSI G2412 is at $400 for me atm, not such a budget friendly as shown here.
I bought a sealan 34" curved, and it died in 6 hrs
I just bought a 1080p 240hz monitor which runs 1440p at 165hz off temu for 143£ (50%off). Wish me luck. That’s like 180dollars btw
Bro, honestly, let's say it.. you are a masterpiece!!! ur review is absolutely amazing. u're really nailing it with ur insights and details
whats the best Overdrive Setting for ktc when playing on console 120fps
Do yo have a video for best settings for CRUA 24 Inch gaming monitor? I searched your channel but couldn't find any. The colors are somewhat washed out.
another gem is a vx2718 using one and its amazing! its 180hz 1080p monitor that comes in at a whopping 100 bucks! also is 1ms response with amd freesync
Will I be able to get 120hz on my ps5 using the KTC seance it is hdmi 2.0
So… Wow in wme Koorui the "most accurate" when it looks absurdly yellow? Is the video footage not hett`meant to be visually representative in the way it normally would be expected to?
Cheap ones will leave u through the long run. Affordable ones will help u through the long run. Idk what i wrote i just feel like it
did the ktc recently increase price or something? the only deal i found for it online was like $200 USD already
Can u pls review the koorui 25 inch 170 hz fhd 1080p
It’s not ALMOST too good to be true. We’re in pre-christmas mode, where suppliers need to blow out stock that won’t be competitive for christmas. Almost certainly no support will be offered. They look pretty awful.
On the ktc h24t09p, can i assume that with 2 display ports i can daisy chain 2 or 3 of these monitors?
wie man merkt dass du deutscher bist hahahah 😀
Kanns sein das du deutsch bist? Trotzdem guter Akzent.
Waiting on my KTC 27in qhd to come in….finally upgraded from my 720p HP Omen…someone tell me if this was a good decision cuz i really dont know much about monitors yet. I didnt even realize i was missing out till i saw one of my homeboys playing on a biga** LG that looked like 4k to me lol. after watching the vid im more excited but just dont know if it really is that big of a difference or not
24 or 27 inch LG with IPS matrix, 144hz is cheap today. Its around 200 bucks >< and its fantastic montor, because LG produces the IPS matrix 🙂
beginning in the 1980s, I worked with the STANDARD 14 inch monitors for all formats, and have steadily and routinely UPGRADED MONITORS over the last 40 years of gaming. Unfortunately the Gaming Monitor selection displayed here is only in the 24 inch range: this model has been far surpassed with introduction of 32 inch models. I have purchased for my 3 sons and myself Iiyama G-Master GB3266QSU 32 "monitors, and NONE of us shall ever return to the 24"standard. Choosing 24"reflects essentially continuing to Game in a cramped screen mode, and the mentality behind this Gents video is that it is essential to choose the CHEAPEST option. While enhancing the Gaming experience (through adopting the upgraded Monitors) reflects the ideology of attempting to self provide the most optimal Hardware, so as to increase Gaming Pleasure.
And of course, the 34"wide monitor styles are not even considered. In my opinion INVESTING a bit more to enhance one's Gaming experience is simply an investment in QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT. ♾
I just wish those KTC screens supported USB-C so I can also plug 'em into my laptop sometimes :/
Watching this video with a monitor that has a thick band of racing stripes on the left side of the screen, your video make it so much easier to research rather than trying to read text through thick racing stripes across the monitor.
The 24E3 looks like a clone of the Gigabyte Odyssey G3.
i researched and i think the g2412 has 250 nits of brightness
so i just recieved the KTC and i used your recommended settings and calibartion profile but to me it looks too warm overall. red colors are too saturated and vivid
i ordered the KTC but now that i watch the comparison again i can clearly see that the MSI has a sharper image and less pixelated side by side. I might regret my decision.
What do you think of the LG UltraGear 27GS60F against this KTC Monitor?
I'm interested in a multi-purpose monitor that I would also connect to my PS5. However, how does this KTC monitor hold up when used for work and reading text documents? Is it better to look into another type of monitor altogether if your priority is still work > gaming?
@techless I can't figure out how to get a refresh rate over 60hz. It's not showing over that in advanced display settings. Do I need a good gpu to get a higher refresh rate? I'm on and old computer.
Thank you for this video I’m most likely going with the KTC unless I find something better around its price range!
okok but i really hate the V stand of these monitors
