Is it worth starting a travel blog in 2024?

In this video, I’m going to share with you my thoughts about starting a travel blog in 2024.

You might think that because I have affiliates for hosting companies and run blogging courses I’m just going to say 100% yes, but that’s not the case.

I think that there’s a lot more to it than that. Gone are the days when you could just start a travel blog, write on it like a journal twice a month, and still grow it to the point it can earn money.

While you might get super lucky and have that happen, in most cases you’ll have to spend a few hours per day on your blog to really see it grow.

The good news is, if you love writing, taking photos, and blogging about something you’re passionate about, then none of it will feel like work.

Either way, you’ll need to commit before starting a blog. Be willing to put in some time to it every week for the next few months before it has a chance to make any money.
