  1. Texas Instruments should not let engineers or marketers do presentations. They fail to explain anything concisely or clearly, don't demonstrate the need or use case or why it matters, and fail to connect with any practical benefit. Further, they have videos of items with no cover, no user interface panel, no end-user, consumer, or industrial products. So they say technobabble like the most boring parts of sci-fi, with neither product or use case. Furthermore, Texas as a state has massively failed to develop and maintain a stable power grid despite relative mild conditions. Why should anyone trust Texas Instruments with anything? The last product of value that TI made was Speak & Spell, or maybe the TI-89 or TI-92 graphing calculator.

  2. Blech. No. You don't want to run "AI" algorithms in the guts of power systems. High level decision making for optimizing profits, sure. Low level ARC detection? No. That's dumb. TI is smoking something. I do know what they are doing… they are seeing the sky-high valuations of "AI" companies and want to get in on the action. But low level power systems need determinism. "AI" is the antithesis of determinism. What he is advocating is a complete waste of bandwidth and power.

  3. Thank you for your hard work!!! I used to have a booth at CES for many years to present my product, and I know it is very tiring to walk around the CES. I hope you will take good care of yourself.

  4. Stopping CO2 emissions worldwide and in Australia with grid electricity is insane because the grid is insanely expensive to expand from its 10% portion of all fossil fuels used.

Grid electricity was meant to keep the lights on and some other general work.

Just switching the Airconditioning on can break the electricity grid.
Warming latitudes and more heat pumps ???
And more industrial grid load ???
And no petroleum ICE age vehicles ???

The Australian grid costs $TRILLIONS in our $1.5TRILLION economy and was built over 14decades, all to meet 10% of Australia’s total energy demand.

More grid means an explosion in CO2 emissions from mineral extraction to the new 10x bigger grid capacity and decades delay.
10 decades delay in fossil fueled CO2 emissions reduction.
More grid means an explosion in national debt.

Fortunately customers rooftop PV and EVs technology is in mass production.

Today 6kW rooftop PV is only 30m² on the 200m² avg home roof. 15% of roof area.
And only some of the 20million roofs.

Today 20million panels, 37.8 gW, and x3 to x5 more are needed and matching battery capacity.

Fortunately PV rooftop is cheaper than windows $m² and vehicles are becoming battery vehicles.
Most vehicles are parked 23hrs every day and all night long. A massive electricity storage on wheels. With v2g and selfplug-in selfparking.
Battery Vehicles topped up daily or daytrading electricity with the grid.

Fortunately industrial customers moving away from fossil fuels to clean electricity will need all the feedin electricity from millions and millions and millions of customers.
    Fortunately for grid owners cashflow.

Fortunately 80% of the world's population live in warm latitudes.
Fortunately plutonium producing nuclear electricity and its massive grid are not needed.

Unfortunately 80% of the world's population live in dictatorships and dictators love plutonium.

Even cold latitudes nuclear nations have many sunny months and will have volatility in daily grid demand.
Canada is firing up peaker plants.
